Here at QLift Australia, your safety and that of your employees and customers is of the highest priority. QLift was founded by my father in 1995. Based in Loganholme, he built the business servicing customers throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland, specialising in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of hoists.
After completing Year 12, I joined Dad in the business and began a traineeship with TAFE in Engineering. Through this training, I gained valuable skills in welding, electrical systems, machining, and the mechanical components of hoists. The combination of formal training and hands-on experience working alongside Dad gave me a strong understanding of hoist operation, maintenance, an d repair, as well as the confidence to deliver high-quality solutions for our customers.
Keen to broaden my industry experience, I also worked with several established hoist companies throughout the Brisbane region. This allowed me to further develop my technical knowledge and gain exposure to a variety of equipment, systems, and industry practices.
When Dad retired in 2010, I proudly took over the business. By that stage, I had built the experience and expertise needed to continue the values that had been at the heart of QLift from the beginning: providing quality, reliable, and affordable service while ensuring the safety of those who use the equipment remains the highest priority.
Today, QLift continues to operate on those same core values. We are proud to be a respected name within the hoist industry, recognised for our knowledge, experience, and commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers across South East Queensland.
